What was that song from the new season of Lucifer?

“High and Mighty” by Annabel Lee.

It kicked in, during season 5, episode 11, when Lucifer and Chloe were at the police station talking about the body that Ella has downtown. Lucifer exclaimed proudly “I think for the first time ever my father might have listened to me.”

Lucifer Music: Season 5, Episode 11: Annabel Lee

This song is called “High and Mighty” and is the newest release from the powerhouse Los Angeles based rock and roll god(dess): ANNABEL LEE.

Whatcha think?
I don’t care

I’m high and mighty
High and mighty
Step right up
If your dare
I’m High and Mighty
Look at me
You don’t like it
I don’t care

Even though we only got a few quick seconds of this in the episode, it’s clear it is from a confident woman who knows exactly who she is and what she’s about.

The song has not been released (yet), but hopefully it’ll come out soon.

Make sure you follow her on Spotify so you’re notified when it hits.

Annabel Lee, formerly of Boston, now resides in Los Angeles.

She was one of the only artists in LA county to perform a live concert during the pandemic. (Have no fear, it was totally Covid-safe – as a drive in!)

Annabel Lee is a force to be reckoned with.

Described by the premier LA concert showcase series, School Night: “Raw and unfiltered, Annabel Lee’s music marches down the trail blazed by badass female powerhouses like Fiona Apple and Alanis Morissette.”

If you aren’t hip to Annabel yet, it’s time. Pre-pandemic she was selling out every venue she performed in around LA and rumor has it, she is in studio working on her debut album.

She recently blessed us with a powerful live EP (exclusively on Bandcamp) hilariously titled “MORE OF ME IN THE MONITOR, PLEASE!”

It features an acoustic version of Annabel’s feminist anthem “Go Girl”
