Today’s guest is Clare Means. She’s a Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter. She got her start performing on the Santa Monica Pier. Now she’s known for her success on the livestreaming platforms, specifically Twitch, Facebook, YouTube Live, and Periscope. She’s actually one of the most watched musicians on Periscope. Since quarantine started, she went all in on livestreaming.
Clare talks all about her journey livestreaming, how she built up to be the most successful livestreamer on Periscope, and what it’s looked like since she started livestreaming on all of the other platforms. She breaks each of them down and explains how you can make money on them. She makes her full living exclusively livestreaming.
I’ve been so intrigued by her journey livestreaming, which is why I asked her to be an instructor the Ari’s Take Academy course Livestreaming for Musicians.
