Podcast Editor
We are currently seeking a Podcast Editor to join the team, work remotely, and report to the CMO. We are looking for someone who is passionate and dedicated to the mission of Ari’s Take and The New Music Business Podcast – ready to take the world’s leading music business education podcast to the next level.
This is a contract position that will be roughly 5-10 hours per week. We welcome anyone from different locations and time zones to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Editing the podcast audio and video, to be posted weekly
- Creating out organizational structure within Google Drive for podcast episodes
- Creating visual assets for each podcast episode
- Clipping out social media clips for each podcast episode
- Creating show notes and transcriptions for each podcast episode
- Reviewing podcast episode with CMO and CEO in a timely manner
- Posting episodes to outlets in a timely manner.
- Creating creative social media clips
- Creating complementary visuals to support the brand
Qualifications
Successful candidates will possess:
- True belief in the mission of Ari’s Take with a passion to change the music industry and empower independent artists
- Avid listener of the New Music Business podcast
- Video editing experience
- Podcast specific audio editing experience (Speaking voice mixing, not music production)
- Graphic design experience a plus, but not necessary
- Social media experience a plus, but not necessary
- Experience working in Riverside a plus
- Excellent organizational, multitasking and prioritization skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated initiative and resourcefulness
Payment
$250 per episode + bonuses for additional deliverables with the option for advancement in the company. Typical demand is 1-2 episodes per week.
Payment will be dependent on experience and expertise.
